Hackathons

I participated in the 2025 Babson Spring AI Buildathon in a team of three Olin students. We had nine hours to create a product involving AI to be used in the biomedical field. As I had personal connections with Alzheimer’s patients we chose to create a digital photo frame that both reminds them of their fond memories as well as interacts with them to help maintain their mental acuity. During the buildathon we were able to create a full CAD rendering of the product as well as a custom OpenAI agent that we ported to a Raspberry Pi to act as the patient’s companion. We then created slides to pitch our idea and after presenting to judges we were nominated one of eight finalists out of around 50 teams.
